France and Saudi Arabia Deepen Economic Ties at High-Profile Roundtable in Paris

A new chapter in the strategic partnership between France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was inaugurated this week, as more than 50 leading CEOs and dignitaries from both nations gathered for a high-level binational roundtable at the prestigious Cercle de l’Union Interalliée in Paris.

Among the highlights of the event was the presence of key ministers and officials, including Fahad Al-Saif (Saudi Minister), Roland Lescure (French Minister), Nicolas Forissier (French Minister), and Éléonore Caroit. Their involvement underlined the importance that both countries attach to fostering closer economic, corporate, and cultural collaboration.

Mohamed BEN LADEN, one of the event’s organizers, commented on the significance of the gathering:

“This meeting of 50 of the top CEOs from each of our two nations marks the beginning of a new page in the strategic partnership uniting France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This determination was affirmed by the closing ceremony with President Emmanuel Macron and HRH Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman.”

The roundtable’s theme, “Acting Together to Win Together” (“Agir ensemble pour gagner ensemble”), was highlighted as the guiding principle for this unique collaborative relationship. The event saw participation from influential French and Saudi business leaders, including Laurent Germain, Louis Margueritte, Valérie Pécresse, Francois Jackow, Stephane Michel, Catherine Fiamma MacGregor, Richard Attias, Benoît Clocheret, Béatrice Buffon, Matthieu Louvot, Michel Kahan, Wasiq Bokhari, Nicolas Maes, Patrick Blethon, Christophe Petit, Olivier Charmeil, Christophe Baviere, Florence Verzelen, Nicolas Groult, Antoine Frérot, Laurent Vigier, Philippe Errera, Yves Guillemot, Francois-Aïssa Touazi, Philippe Delleur, Kamal Rhazali, Sébastien Daziano, Xavier Hürstel, Michaël Fribourg, Jean-Baptiste Thélot, Pierre Pauliac, Arnaud Valranges, Jerry Inzerillo, Mazin Al Romaih, and Abdullah Aldawood, among others.

The event’s agenda focused on not only the economic and business opportunities but also the cultural and diplomatic bridges being built between France and Saudi Arabia. The drive towards collaboration rather than competition was echoed throughout the sessions, as leaders explored new ways of aligning their visions for the future.

The closing of the roundtable in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron and HRH Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman was a powerful symbol of political will at the highest level. As the two nations move forward, this meeting is widely regarded as a promising start for ambitious joint projects in sectors ranging from technology and energy to tourism and culture.

With robust participation from leaders in both public and private sectors, optimism prevails that the France–Saudi Arabia partnership will generate lasting economic growth, shared innovation, and global influence for years to come. The motto “Acting Together to Win Together” seems poised to set the tone for this new era of cooperation.
