Vietnam & UAE: Strengthening a Strategic Partnership for the Future
The relationship between Vietnam and the UAE is experiencing an unprecedented phase of deeper cooperation, opening up new opportunities for businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs in both countries. This momentum was recently highlighted at the 6th Session of the UAE–Vietnam Joint Committee, held in Abu Dhabi, where both nations reaffirmed their commitment to expand collaboration across key sectors such as trade and investment, technology, energy, food security, agriculture, education, tourism, healthcare, and logistics.
A landmark achievement in this partnership is the UAE–Vietnam Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which officially entered into force on 3 February 2026. The agreement provides a robust framework to enhance trade, promote investment flows, and foster business cooperation between the two dynamic markets.
Vietnam, increasingly recognized as a manufacturing and innovation hub in Asia, and the UAE, renowned for its role as a global gateway connecting the Middle East, Africa, and international markets, are together building a strategic bridge for economic and business activities. For Vietnamese companies seeking to expand globally, the UAE offers not only a thriving market but also a strategic entry point to the broader MENA region.
The Vietnamese Business Council in UAE (VNBC) plays a pivotal role, working to strengthen ties, forge strategic partnerships, and unlock shared growth between the business communities of both countries. Through initiatives and networking, the VNBC is committed to connecting ideas, partnerships, and opportunities.
Vietnam and the UAE are, together, connecting Asia with the Middle East and building the future of global trade, investment, and prosperity.
