LG Electronics Advances Digital Infrastructure in Middle East with Strategic Partnerships

This month, William (Joowan) Cho, President & CEO of LG Electronics Inc., visited Saudi Arabia, strengthening alliances that are shaping the region’s future. In a significant milestone, LG celebrated 30 years of partnership with Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company, underscoring a long-standing commitment to collaborative progress in the Middle East.

During the visit, LG Electronics joined forces with DataVolt, a global data infrastructure leader, and signed an MOU to deliver advanced thermal management solutions for the next generation of AI-ready, net-zero data centers. This step positions LG Electronics as a trusted innovator in the rapidly expanding digital infrastructure domain.

“The Middle East and Africa hold tremendous potential, driven by government-led transformation and large-scale development projects. With strong partnerships and differentiated technologies across HVAC, AI home, and smart solutions, we are committed to unlocking new growth and supporting the region’s ambition to become a global technology hub,” stated William (Joowan) Cho.

LG’s strategic focus on high-potential markets is evident, as this Middle East engagement follows earlier visits to India, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Mr. Cho emphasized the role of the Global South as the growth engine of tomorrow, highlighting the company’s dedication to building sustainable, long-term opportunities.

As LG strengthens its presence in the region with innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions, this collaboration reflects the company’s vision to deliver value and support ambitious regional transformation. With the continued commitment of industry leaders and partners, the Middle East and Africa are poised to emerge as global hubs for technology and digital infrastructure.
