Dubai Chambers Empowers Businesses with Legal and Compliance Knowledge
Dubai, 9th June 2025 — Dubai Chambers has wrapped up a successful series of legal and compliance-focused events in May, aiming to empower businesses to navigate the UAE’s dynamic regulatory environment.
The series featured three in-person workshops and a webinar, focusing on crucial areas such as the UAE Commercial Companies Law, corporate compliance, UAE and GCC Customs Law, and Compliance Challenges on VAT & Excise Tax. The sessions generated significant engagement, drawing a total of 598 participants from across the private sector.
Attendees acquired valuable knowledge and strategies to reduce risks, implement good corporate governance practices, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. Key learning areas included data protection regulations, customs tariff structures, Harmonised System (HS) code classification, handling of goods within free zones, customs valuation methodologies, customs audit procedures, and developing robust compliance strategies for overcoming cross-border trade challenges within the GCC countries.
