The event convenes top global experts and companies in logistics, supply chain management, and air freight, offering a dynamic forum for industry dialogue, innovation, and collaboration.
The SAA delegation, headed by Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, and accompanied by Sheikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, includes a team of specialist representatives.
Ali Salim Al Midfa stated that the participation is part of the Authority’s efforts to “strengthen its international presence and expand into global markets, reinforcing Sharjah Airport’s position as a regional hub for air cargo.”
The exhibition provides a strategic platform to unveil the airport’s forward-looking vision, showcase ambitious developments in the logistics sector, and promote its competitive advantages. It also facilitates discussions about global partnerships, which contribute to Sharjah’s growth objectives and support the UAE’s broader vision of a diversified, knowledge-driven economy.
Al Midfa also noted the airport’s intent to “increase its annual passenger capacity to over 25 million by 2027,” through comprehensive development projects focusing on sustainability and service integration across cargo operations, ground handling, and aviation services, aligned with international best practices.
The SAA’s exhibition stand has seen strong engagement from industry professionals and participants, presenting a suite of development projects tailored to the growing global air cargo demand. Key features include enhanced cargo facilities, smart handling systems, and digitised tracking technologies that boost operational efficiency.
Sharjah’s geographical location, connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa, offers a strategic advantage, bolstered by a vast airline network and integrated logistics services known for quality and reliability.
Throughout the exhibition, the SAA delegation continues to conduct meetings with international cargo operators, logistics providers, and tech firms, exploring joint projects and highlighting the incentives and streamlined services Sharjah Airport delivers to its business partners and investors.
The airport’s involvement in this prestigious trade fair underscores its commitment to strengthening global supply chains and delivering innovative air freight solutions that advance cross-continental connectivity.
