Dubai International Chamber Expands Reach with New Office in Luanda, Angola

In a dynamic move signaling the fortifying economic relationship between Dubai and Angola, the Dubai International Chamber has officially inaugurated its new representative office in Luanda. This pivotal development is spearheaded by Mohammad Al Attar, Director of the Africa Region at Dubai Chambers.

Reflecting the burgeoning economic ties between the two regions, the announcement comes amidst growing non-oil trade figures projected to reach AED 11.6 billion by 2025, marking a significant 47.5% year-on-year increase. This office is expected to be a cornerstone in strengthening these ties, working in tandem with Angolan stakeholders to deliver comprehensive market intelligence, support the formation of partnerships, and facilitate cross-border business ventures.

A special acknowledgment was extended to H.E. Salem Ali Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Angola, along with esteemed leaders from the business community who played a vital role by attending the inaugural event. Their presence underscored the commitment to nurturing and expanding trade relations between the two regions.

The newly established office is anticipated to act as a catalyst in accelerating bilateral trade, fostering sustainable economic partnerships, and driving growth for businesses on both sides. This strategic move not only strengthens Dubai’s footprint in Africa but also opens new avenues for Angolan businesses to tap into the vibrant economic landscape of Dubai.
