British Chamber of Commerce Dubai Hosts Successful Networking Breakfast: British Business Across the UAE

The British Chamber of Commerce Dubai (BCCD) successfully hosted over 100 British Chamber member businesses at the BCCD Networking Breakfast: British Business Across the UAE, held in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi and key stakeholders from Ras Al Khaimah.

The event, which took place at the popular member venue Bla Bla by McGettigan’s, brought together leading professionals and organizations from across the UAE’s British business network. The gathering served as a platform to share updates, foster connections, and underscore the importance of collaboration during both challenging and optimistic times.

Andy Barr, UAE Director for Business and Trade at the Department for Business and Trade, opened the morning by recognizing the UAE’s leadership for keeping the business community informed and safe during recent crises. He expressed his gratitude to the chambers for “amplifying key messages and facilitating community engagement for British businesses”.

The breakfast also celebrated fresh leadership and representation within the community, warmly welcoming Stacy Keating, the newly appointed CEO of the British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi, and Mike Hoff – Profit Growth Specialist – representing the vibrant business community in Ras Al Khaimah.

Katy Keenan, CEO of British Chamber of Commerce Dubai (BCCD), commented:

“There was a sense of great relief and positivity at the event. Over a week into the ceasefire and with the news that schools will open next week members appeared optimistic and shared early signs of recovery.”

Participants enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lively discussions focused on the opportunities and resilience within the British business community across the UAE. The atmosphere, by all accounts, was marked by optimism, renewed confidence, and a strong sense of unity.

The BCCD team thanked Bla Bla by McGettigan’s for hosting and providing exceptional service. Members and guests were also encouraged to explore the chamber’s upcoming events to further enhance business growth and connections across the region.
