Empowering Women and Fostering Partnerships: Ghorfa Welcomes Jordanian Business Women Delegation The Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted an influential Business Women Delegation from Jordan, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to strengthen cross-border partnerships and promote women’s leadership in business. This event, part of the Innovative Private Sector Development Project, underscores the commitment to supporting Jordan’s economic modernization and fostering collaborative opportunities with Germany. The delegation was led by H.E. Dana al-Zoubi, Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, and included 17 esteemed representatives spanning a diverse range of sectors, including industry, trade, logistics, IT, healthcare, food, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. The warm welcome was extended by Ghorfa’s Secretary General, Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi, who emphasized the importance of such exchanges for advancing economic relations and empowering women in leadership positions. With the participation of 30 prominent German representatives, the B2B networking event created a thriving environment for discussing innovative business ideas and exploring new avenues for sustainable cooperation. Women empowerment was a key focus of the event, with stakeholders examining its growing significance and potential as a catalyst for Arab-German business cooperation. “This exchange provided a valuable platform to share experiences, gain new perspectives, and explore opportunities for future collaboration,” said Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi. The trade mission, implemented by GIZ Jordan on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, ignore gravity, and Grace – Accelerate Female Entrepreneurship, further demonstrates the strength of collective efforts in advancing female entrepreneurship and sustainable business growth in both regions. This initiative stands as an important step towards strengthening economic and business relations between Germany and Jordan, supporting female leaders, and opening new doors for long-term sustainable partnerships. #Ghorfa #EmpoweringWomen #BusinessNetworking #Jordan #Germany #WomenLeadership #Partnerships Team V.4-LKDN-UAE
