The Abu Dhabi Investment Forum, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) in partnership with Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), recently saw the participation of top leaders from finance and investment around the world. Danny Sebright, President of the US-UAE Business Council, played a central role by moderating two critical panels focused on Abu Dhabi’s rapidly evolving investment landscape.
The first panel, titled “Abu Dhabi – The Capital of Capital,” brought together Gregory Peters of PGIM, Arvind Ramamurthy of ADGM, and Alan Schwartz of Guggenheim Partners. Panelists discussed Abu Dhabi’s vibrant ecosystem driven by private equity, venture capital, and fintech innovation. They highlighted how the emirate is reshaping the financial landscape and accelerating growth in sustainable investment, digital assets, structured finance, and a range of emerging sectors.
A focal point of their conversation was the city’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for both local and global investors. Abu Dhabi’s proactive approach is driving confidence in new markets and technologies, ensuring the emirate remains at the forefront of international finance.
The second session, “Mobilizing Global Capital: How Abu Dhabi is Connecting Investors to High-Impact Opportunities,” featured Mohamed Abdelbary of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Chris Gordon of Bain Capital, Declan Hegarty of J.P. Morgan – Abu Dhabi, and Charles H. of BlackRock. This panel explored the evolution of global capital flows, emphasizing the growing importance of alternative assets and Abu Dhabi’s pivotal role as a gateway for deploying strategic capital.
According to Danny Sebright, Abu Dhabi is uniquely positioned at the intersection of innovation and investment, offering unparalleled opportunities to international players and reinforcing the emirate’s status as a hub for high-impact partnerships.
